Tuner needed, any help?

JP just so you know Carpenter was most likely talking Tune Boy for the higher rpm map. There are custom Tune boy maps that run up to 9000 rpms. No that you need 9000 rpms but running a stocker up to 7400 is not out of the question. The PCV will override any limitations put on the injector pulse width ratio set in the ECU which neither tune boy nor tune ecu can re program. I am not kicking tune ecu just wanted you to know its limitations other then that it is a fine program. Especially for the price :)

I also just noticed you have a 2015 so I can not speak to whether Tune boy has built a custom map yet for it. Or if it is any different from the 2014 programming. If they have it the new tune boy also incorporates a Innovate wide ban controller and wireless link up to the ECU. Its a wee bit pricey but has a lot more goodies to play with.

Thanks for the info, not sure what he would use, he said I could send my ecu and he would flash it for me, getting rid of speed limiter and raising to 7500, like I said, I have little knowledge in this way of tuning, so I appreciate any and all feedback from you fellas, as of now I have plans to take it to Nels, seems to be very knowledgeable and comes highly recommended, again thanks for the info.

You or Nels can raise the rev limiter and open up the secondaries with TuneECU. Does he have the cable? Then he can adjust the fuel with the PCV.

I have talked with Nels, have plans to take it to him in February and have it done, seems to be very fairly priced and knowledgable, one good thing about the 15, is I have full power in all gears, they have gotten rid of the under power in the first 3 gears, I was told to many people complained. Can't wait to turn her up and get on the road.

That's mainly true although they still have the secondaries somewhat closed above 4800 rpm in 4th and 5th. At 5500 rpm and up, the secondaries are closed down to 33-35%, so you may want to open those up, as this is where the HP peaks.

Thanks for the info, date is set, two weeks to go for the tune. CR pipes installed, triple K@N's, I feel like I'm about to go into labor, but in a good way, lol
Felt like a kid on Christmas morning when I fired her up for the first time, first thought was **** that no baffle sounds great but Oh it going to attract the Po Po, lol. It was so worth the wait. Take care and again thanks to you and all others that helped me out with info.
