Tom, just got a 09 R3T with jardines, 1400 miles, standard filters, which tune would you recommend for this setup. I'm having quite a bit of decel popping that I'd like to cure. Thanks in advance. Dennis

OK, have the K&N triple filters on order, should be here this weekend, downloaded my map and it's 20233 which I would assume is stock, with Jardine exhaust any suggestions of a map to use until I can get it dynoed?

I had Jardines on my R3T with secondaries removed and KN Filters.
I had I dynoed and loaded the map into Tune ecu to make it suitable for use with Tune Ecu. It's included and also available on Tom.s TuenEcu page e and also under a Thread here called Jardines where you can also see movies on youtube of the tuning. It is always good to have the bike dynoed. Then your sure it runs the best. Anymore questions please do.
I replaced the Jardines for the TORS again: to much noise.
Thanks Ballyono, I've read your previous posts, just not sure how much difference NOT having the DB killers would make. Not even sure what the DB Killer's are. Do they restrict airflow?
The DB Killers were made specially and are not for sale at Jardines. They helped and only influenced the Power a little. The rumble of the Jardines sounded annoying in my ears at surtain speeds so I replaced the TOR's and had it Dynoed again. I went down in power ( from over 140 to 138 HP) but got more power in the lower sections which we use most of the times.( which can be achieved with a good Dyno run). The Dyno tuning also can save you a lot of Petrol use and it can prevent you to run "lean" which can finally cause the engine to be damaged in the long run.
The bike is still going op to appr. 225 km per hour if nesecarry which is not really a nice speed for the tourer and the screen but off course nice to know.

Thanks to everyone in the community for sharing their knowledge. I'm soaking it all in for now. Hopefully I can contribute.
It took several weeks but finally installed TORS on 08 R3T last night. Installed TuneECU and cable drivers. Connected to R3 and it went right online. The current tune is 20233. To my knowledge this is the original tune. Haven't checked part numbers on silencers however the discharge hole is about 1 inch and there is a definite weight difference between them and the new TORS.
It is my understanding that the Cats are in the silencers on the R3T. The header connects to the manifold between the silencers and it is empty. Based on Tom's recommendations for tunes I chose the 20228 as the appropriate file. However, I did not download last night as the 20233 appears to be almost the same file. I did upload 20233 and store to hard drive.
Here are my questions:
Should I download 20228 over 20233?
I tried the compare file but couldn't review results, where are they displayed?
I too am new to the R3T, my bike came with the Jardines system installed but I did get the stock exhaust as well. The cat is not in the mufflers, looking at the parts I believe it is between the left and right muffler, yours may have already been removed. I also came up with 20233 as the previous owner did not remap. In order to check differences between maps first load one map and then load a compare map. by pressing F6 you can see the difference between the two.
