Good to hear.

RioRand and a few other brands are good. So far I am partial to OBDLink LX, as it has a very high update rate and auto-power detect, so wont drain the battery if left on the bike.

The map part I'll never trust from a phone, too much at risk.

This is absolutely no problem, we have the well tested.
Prior to the final version, there have been 25 test versions and 15 test users who tested together with us,
the Android version through its paces.

Tom

Via bluetooth dongle you can not flash the ECU also. That's as in the Windows version possible with cable only.

Tom, I'm a bit confused by the last post.

Can you flash the ECU if you have the FTDI cable (ODBII to USB) and a new USB to Micro-USB cable plugged into your Android tablet?

Anyone who wants to try this should just get a so-called OTG cable. It basically converts the tiny micro-usb port on the Android device to a USB port that works as a USB host, ie you can hook stuff up to it like you would to any computer. Stuff like a mouse or a keyboard, or even a USB hub and both of those. Or, in this case, the normal cable from lonelec.co.uk or whoever makes a proper ODB cable for Triumphs.

Just hit up Amazon and search for "otg cable" and tons of options will crop up.

I have all the parts but since I have an old netbook that runs the free Windows TuneECU just fine and I so rarely use it I won't be forking over the $10 - even though the program is no doubt well worth it. I'm a cheapskate I guess. :)
