TuneEcu Connection Problem

I looked this up and it is for an Audi or Volkswagon. I have a Touring, is the cable different than the Roadster?

Fair question. Not sure; but, I'd bet the cable would work as it's the same ECU software.

No, for all Triumph EFI bikes, which are compatible with TuneECU, the cable are the same.

I am not sure why a lot of you are buying the wrong cable?

Yup, that was,the one I was questioning as it states" Rocket III up ro year 2012.." I have the 2013 R3T so I am hoping nothing changed and they just had not updated the web.

I'm surprised that cable works Steve. I've always read we need the clear cable with the silver wire.

If the TPS light doesn't turn green after twenty minutes, don't worry and turn the engine off anyway as
sometimes it doesn't trigger, and in our experience the job is done anyway.

Assuming this is all from a technical perspective is in order.

I tried to connect to uneEcu. Plugged cable into bike, blue light comes on, connect USB into laptop and get the "dadonk" sound. TuneEcu is already on screen, turn ignition switch on. Now heres the problem. I don't get the lower right hand corner to show I've linked to the program, never get the flashing red let alone amber and green. I bought the cable from Powertripp and it's worked in the past. Does this indicate that the cable has gone bad? Is there a way to test it? Or is there another step by step process that I should try? Just want to know before I buy another cable and then find out I'm doing something out of sequence.

I had the same problem. I reinstalled the Tune ECU software , and the drivers. Deleted the old ones first. Took about 10 minutes .
