TuneECU Compare maps - Graphic display ?

A Triumph tune will not work with a full Jardine system. I have one. And a dyno tuned PCIII. None of the available tunes from Dynojet or floating around the TuneECU site or this forum were as good as my dyno tune. My base tune is 20226 and my secondaries are removed. If yours are still installed, you would want to open them 100%. Can you email me the map that is in the PCIII, and the map that's loaded in the ECU? You certainly do NOT have to remove the PCIII. If you want to load a tune directly into the ECU, just put a zero map (all trims to zero) into the PCIII.
 
I have a tweaked 20368 with Jardines, K&N lunchbox filter, and disabled 02 sensor. It may not be optimized but it is finally not too lean. And zero to 60 appears to be a negative number...so I am happy.
 
Not sure yet on what tunes are loaded until I can get plugged in.
Or about the status of the secondaries.
I did reconnect the linkage tothe step down motor unit (is the proper name ISCV),
that fixed the rough running at lower rpms, and brought back the high idle issue .
So i know I'm on the right track.
Im going to adjust the tension on the spring in hopes of getting the idle down a bit ;until I can get it to a dealership where it can be recalibrated.
Hopefully that will make it run better.

No it is called the idle stepper motor.
The ISCV is the process of setting the idle stepper control voltage check and adjust if needed it synchronizes the idle stepper motor and primary Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) with the ecu andmapit alsoclears data stored in the comon variables section of the program. The ecu uses this data along with the permanent comon variables to calculate functions in the ecu's main program. Most likely there are a few. Subrutine pragrams running in the main programs background supplying needed data that can change.

Got it booked for aug 5.
Just finished adjusting the spring tension on the idle stepper motor; in hopes of compensating for the way it seems to be causing the high idle issue while riding.
 
On a PC, yes. The Adroid version is $12US and change, and the Android version doesn't have all the functionality of the PC version.

And we never say "It's as simple as . . ." with Tune ECU. There are multiple threads and many many posts from captains (including yours truly) who had difficulty getting it to work.

That said, if you have explicitly the LonElec cable -- we KNOW that one works -- and you have Win7 on up -- then it should just work.
 

Yes, just for the record, I have never once been able to hook up the cable, laptop, and bike, and have it work first time? NEVER! Sometimes I think it's just the sequence of which one is on first, but for whatever reason it hasn't become clear too me. Sometimes one iteration of, key-off-back-on-unplug-re-plug, Tune ECU off back on, start motor- pull fuse, select USB, then Serial Port, then check testicles- scratch head......OH ****! THERE IT IS, THE INCREDIBLE BLINKING GREEN RECTANGLE! The reason you need to pull the headlight fuse and have a battery tender or jumper cables is, THE FRIGGIN PROGRAM takes so long to hook up and get it talking to the ECU that you run your battery dead and forget what your original plan was in the first place
 
Sometimes connecting works better if you turn the engine on. Once it's connected turn it back off but leave ignition on.
