Can someone please inform me if the Truck-lite 7inch headlamp and 4 1/2 inch passing lamps are a direct plug in and fit ?? Or would I need to purchase something else (connectors, retaining ring etc...) to make them work on my 2015 R3T trike?? Thanks

Don't know about the R3t, but the 7" fitted my Bonnie perfectly,
just had to fit longer rim screw.
Works great, many thanks to Chris (barbagris) for puting me on to them

The headlight connector main/dip are a cinch. Dropped straight into my Guzzi.

You may need to fiddle a bit with the position light. I don't know what the R3T park light connector is like.

Truck-Lite Fogs - sorry not seen them first hand - In the US you might want also to hunt down a Primo Rivera LED H/light to look at.

The fog lights that are stock are some ludicrous cheap nonsense; they connect with one white wire (positive) that comes from the harness and a black one, that terminates in the headlight shell. The lamp itself grounds via the shell as well. You have to cut those cables as near to the ends as possible and figure out some other way to wire them up. I just put two Posilocks there which is super easy, reliable and reversible.

The fog lights will fit the shell just fine, I've seen Rocket T's with those on them (at least in pictures). It's an easy job - open the headlight shells and find a soft surface to rest the ring/reflector on with the glass down, pry off the clips that hold the reflectors to the trim ring, put the new reflectors into place and replace the clips. Then just mount the trim rings again.

The Truck-lite main 7 incher will stick out a bit as the glass portion is thicker than the stock. I've seen Harley riders getting frenched trim rings to avoid that.

I just got my 7'' Truck-Lite for my 2008 Touring. Took the old headlight out (what is the little peanut bulb for???) Put the Truck-Lite in but it's a bit smaller and the clips won't hold it in. I MacGyvered it in with a bit of wire but I'm concerned about water getting in and hitting the wires, plus there has got to be something I'm missing here.

Can anyone that has done this on a Touring give me some advice please?

To install Truck Lite driving lights on the R3 Touring i had to cut off the connectors that came with the lights (mine came with HD compatible connectors) and solder on like sized spade connectors that matched those on the bike's stock wiring harness. I greased the connections with dielectric and put everything back together. Used them all year, so far no problems, have rode in some heavy rain. The LED driving lights put the stock lights to shame.

I plugged it right in. My touring had the same connection. I just took the position bulb put and tapped the connection up to keep dirt, etc out of it
