Triumph R.A.T.

Well,
I just spoke with Peter Carrillo at Triumph North America.
I asked about the R.A.T. organization,
and how best to utilize this entity and volunteer my services.
His reply was,
"Triumph Corp. turned the Rat part over to the individual dealers in (he thought) '06".
I mentioned we got '08 patches and hats from RAT along with the slick add rag we use to get.
I asked for Triumph corp. in England's main number
and who I needed to speak to over there to get R.A.T. utilized
the way Harley utilizes their h.o.g. organization.
He said the main Corp. has no interest in resurrecting the Rat,
the dealers were to utilize it by organizing rides or whatever.
All in all, not a very rewarding discussion to get R.A.T. going again.
Anybody got the name and number for the marketing director at the Corp. headquarters?
I'd like to at least make contact and suggest we utilize this entity.
I did mention I used the Triumph Rat for patches, and had buckles made for us,
and he said Triumph has no problem with that.
So I'm assuming it's alright to have decals made too.
anyway, I'd like to get R.A.T. going the way it should be,
so I need the main guys name and number.
The head of marketing, not Mr. Bloors.
If the Corp. won't take an interest in this,
I guess it's up to us.
Lets take the initiative and get this done.
I need a name and number guys.....

Triumph has to be willing on some level. They brought 6 jackets for the raffle at the Kootenay Raid this year. And some corporate wonk got up and told us how great it was we kept that event going.

I would think they (Corporate office) would be interested.
I know he (Peter C.) said Triumph cut out RAT in '06
but then we got our factory hats, patches, etc. in '08,
so something is out of kilter somewhere.
Lack of communication between Corp. Home office and Triumph North America.
I still need the name and number of "someone" who may actually know
whats going on at the corporate level with the RAT Division..
Anyone???
