Thanks ozrider.
Went to a seals shop on the way home got three free orings then went to the dealers rings where in so paid my $21 for three correct factory ones.

Should be all good for Saturday Arco to be running again.

Be carefull putting that plug back in. if it was not one of the drain plugsit was a npt plug and had thread locker on it. Pay attention to the torque specifications so you do not crack the sump pan.

Probably my fault , I apologise I did mention the middle ish plug in a previous text . That is the oil tank drain on my roadster !

Take a drinking straw...like for a milkshake...and insert it in the grill of the fan on your laptop and blow...do every little bit good and hard...it gets the dust outa the fan...

Hey Chris...did you get the crankcase breather pipe sorted?

Hi Tel.
Thanks for popping over yesterday good to meet you.

Not yet but got all the oil out of the bike.
Mechanic must have bloody good eye sight as found the missing Bolt in about 2 seconds but no luck with the right size oring.

Turns out that the oil pipe might have been modified by last owner as has a very deep groove.

Going to take the oil tank to work and see if they have the correct size oring or head to the seal shop and get correct one.

Ok this might not matter as you stated yours might have been modified.
Anyway back in the early years of the Rocket there was actually two oil tanks in which you ordered by engine number. Anyway then along came the update kit. which had components for the oil tank and fittings

There were two update kits one for the silver engine and one for the black. But I think the only difference was the color of the out put shaft cover. You might want to inquire so you can tell you bought the right parts for the tank. Meaning if you have the old components are you getting the right O-rings ?
