Just from the hip...sure sounds like you
re installed the TPS with the pot against the wrong stop, and it’s fighting against the opposite TPS and/or ISC stepper motor.

If .63 is as low as you can go then you have the primary TPS installed wrong or its knackered up. You should be able down in the .5 range when adjusting it.

Your more than likely right.

Have had an offer of help from a Rocket captain who will be down in Christchurch next month for work so will just hang fire with stuffing it a any more.

Thanks for the help so far.

I was tentative as hell , first working on my Rocket , it all seemed daunting with the management systems and other people's horror story's ! If it broke then I would have to find a way to fix it , as couldn't afford dealer prices . Also I may mention I am compooter stupid . After buying a laptop and interface cable , @warp9.9 kindly had the patience to walk me through it , after getting the poor guy to explain it 3 times he put it in child language and ureeka . I got it !
I guess what I'm trying to say here is feast on the advice and experience offered by this community and you too would very soon be surprised how easy it is to do virtually anything mechanical on the rocket . It certainly enhances ownership and saves you a shed full of dollar !

Hopefully that's all I have done. Might have another go tonight after work.

At getting the TPS to the right location.
Is this just a matter of pulling it out and rotating a bit farther and putting back in.

Sounds like a grand idea. Nah bother though I need to sort out the oil leak from the oil header tank first.

But if that's what

Right I'm back in the garage with tuneECU hooked up and still can't get TPS voltage right.

Now I have realised that I turned the little tabs inside when I cleaned the TPS. Now that got me thinking that I didn't put them back in the right place.

Now can someone please tell me are the suppose to turned all the to the right or left?

Well finally got TPS to get 61 volts looks like I turned it a we bit far when cleaning it finally put the screwdriver in turned it a bit more and felt a click and a bit of pressure against it well that made it easy to get it on 61 volts.

Now only if I could get secondary to move to 73 volts..

Also have code P0505 idle speed control system malfunction.

Check the wire plug connection to the stepper motor take it on and off a couple times in case there is any corrosion. Once you check that you can try the stepper motor test. Same tab as the ISCV reset test just 6 buttons up. Double click it and it will run the test. pay attention to the bottom of the screen for the results.
