Hey all; newbie member with possibly a dumb question here. I'm not too knowledgeable on turbo information; I will never pretend to say I'm a mechanic; but happened to fall upon what may possibly be a good deal for some upgrade parts for the Beast; here's a quote from an email a buddy sent to me:

ANY info and opinions on this idea would be GREATLY valued since I basically know nothing about such an addition. Would anything like this work? What other parts would I need - the Beast is bone stock; and I'm not scared to change intake/exhaust/tune to add some 'go' as long as I don't need to be wrenching for 8 months to so some major overhaul... I have a great network of friends who are auto mechanics; but noone else owns an RIII that I know so tapping you folks for your input; again any and all comments would be appreciated; thank you!

Twin turbo rocketMan that would be orsamI have a twin turboed 2.6l car and and it halls arse.I think it would be a lot of work and dollars to do on a bike though, the manifold might cause you a few probs(leg room wise)

I'm no expert on this subject either, but I think your biggest problem would be WHERE to put the twin turbos? Would they both fit in the catalytic converter area? Second, how would you route the exhaust two drive two turbos, with only one bank of cylinders? I suppose you could split the exhaust for the middle cylinder at some point.

A V6, such as The Punisher described has two banks of cylinders, one side of the V drives one turbo, the other side drives the second turbo.

Cool info folks, thanks for the opinions and all others, please keep them coming... realizing this idea wouldn't be a simple bolt-on project, I am soliciting ideas from those of you with some knowledge and experience here to find out if this may even be possible. If it gets too costly or physically tough to do; no problem. Just an idea a friend was bouncing around at me and I told him I'd check it out.
