Just ordered my RAMAIR and have TORs, been riding this bike for 8 years and finally decided to unleash it. I downloaded TuneECU and I also have a cable ordered. As soon as the new air filter and cable arrive I want to do this long overdue remap of my Rocke Touringt. I saw one that may be this same tune on the TuneECU website done by Nels. Should I ise rhe one from the site or this one? Does this tune open the secondaries?
Thanks

Both are probably fine. Like everything FREE it is question of faith. If Rob has posted it on here - you can be pretty **** sure it is safe and 100%. Download it and open it in TuneECU - you'll be able to see if the plates are are open. Learn to use TuneECU offline before you connect to your beast. It is ALWAYS A RISK and you should understand the software a bit. RTFM. ;)

Been watching a few video tutorials to learn a little about it before I make changes. I don't plan on trying to make any changes myself, but you're right, some good basic knowledge of what changes are being made is smart.

Before I link tunes for people or post them, I review the file.

I posted a file years ago that had corrupt ignition tables in it, it was also loaded in my bike. I went and had it dynod and had some weird rippling on the torque curve. Went and checked the I-tables and they were just chaos everywhere, I cant believe the bike ran actually. I put out a warning about it, and now, ensure I check everything I link.

For those unaware, the R3R_Slip tune from PowerTripp is a corrupted file, DO NOT USE IT. The R3T_Slip file, is fantastic though.

Nels tune sounds good but as TORS are no longer available would the tune be ok with RAMAIR and stock mufflers

It'll be a bit rich for that configuration, but not horribly so. There are other options out there besides TORs, and there's a good selection of TOR's usually to be found on the used market.

Looks like the tune I got from Bob. Did > 8000 km's with it. Runs very good. Only some sneezing when shifting to a lower gear while revving the engine.
