brilliant oh
Has ony one out there in internet land been successful installing a tune boy tune into a rocket tour? MINE HAS BEEN ATCARPTENER RACING SINCE OCT. FOR A 240 UPGRADE . 1 month to do the mech part on the engine the rest of the time is trying to get the ecm to accept the tune boy tune.Any help would be appreciated. (Tune boy I hope you get feed back from this posting)

Quite a few of us have installed Tuneboy tunes on the R3T without a hitch. Must be something more than just the normal tune install going on. Those guys sure aren't new to the game.

They said app a month the mech side was done in time. I`VE read the e-mails between tune boy and them tune boy said no problem they could creat a tune for that appilcation. Bob has tried every method to down load it in the bike. I think at one time the tune said it was downloaded but on the dyno no change, the rev limiter was still on. they have told him to do different ways to down load but nothing works.

Maybe you need to lend them a different computer.

If that would fix it I would give them mine!!!!!! Bob has talked to triumph directly and also had a computer guru try to load it . Tune boy sent a couple of diff loads still nothing the latest was they were going to send a disk to download it from instead of the internet. that was over a month and a half ago, still no disk.

Why not trying to download the free tune ecu that I have seen posted on here. I have the tuneboy program and it is a pita to get loaded the first time. I don't know if the tune ecu is compatible with the touring models though.

There has to be another way.

Tune ecu does not have expanded rpm maps 9000 rpm or Bob would have been trying it. This is new ground for the ECU in the touring and the Roadster which I am sure the bugs will be worked out. As far as I know only one roadster has been tuned with the new multiple trim map programs and it took a few different programs and them calling from th euSA to OZ to get it to work.

hey warp 9.9 nice to here from you. hows it going on your end. Wife told Art if my bike wasn`t finished for the trip he was going to have to lend me his. Right now we are working on a trade wife kids dogs for a bike. (SHES A **** GOOD BAKER)

Just load the regular TB map, give up the extra RPMs until the issue is sorted, dyno it and get back on the bike. It is ridiculous for both Carpenter and TB at this point.

Has anyone asked the TuneEcu guy to make a map that goes to 9000K? As often as they are releasing updates I bet he can do it.
