I am getting ready to load a new tune on to my bike (Thanks Clint). Triple K&N's, Tors with Cat Delete, and then it hit me - I had always assumed that because the bike had TORs and the cat delete, that the O2 sensor was not present. Now I want to confirm this. The shop manual (as always) sucks in illustrating the location. Can anyone tell me:
1) Is the O2 sensor automatically removed as part of a TORs/Cat delete setup? It's still on the Tors pipe
2) If not, where do I look for the O2 sensor in this setup? (right side, I think the upper if I remember correctly)
3) If I have the O2 sensor, does it make much of a difference whether or not I remove it?
4) If I leave it in, but deselect it in TuneECU will that simply deactivate it? (I am think "no" but figure I'd ask someone more knowledgeable) You can uncheck it in TuneEcu, but if you leave it in there is a chance that it can be ruined at some point & if you ever wanted to switch your ECU tune back to stock, in the sensor is not working you would obviously have to buy a new one (or a used one off of ebay, which there are many for sale there) I followed Hanso's advice & removed it/plugged it off & put a bypass plug int the wiring socket coming off of the ECU
