Torque loss-RU 2780's

As explained before the website is old and I cannot get rid of it... I got a mail from a Dan. I will buy one and test it. I am a very small company no Aston Martins round here. I have a Holden ute

I for one would be interested to see a dyno comparison between this filter and the triples on the same bike on the same dyno done by the same bloke.

I'm hope it'll come for free.

From day one, both Colin and I wanted to make sure they got into independent hands able to do true comparative tests. As real data is the only way to know for sure.

Long term it would be real interesting to see how the filters work after 10-20,000kms. The theory is that foam filters stay efficient regarding airflow even when very dirty.

One thing is for sure, if I do a comparison I will report as I find. On the surface of it , it would seem like they should be a good thing. Most folk do not believe me when I tell them to take of their small K&N's and put on Uni-filters to get another 5-7hp. I do not make it up. As the mantra is on some ones avatar here, I don't have an opinion I have a dyno. An engine is just an air pump, the more air it pumps the more power/torque it makes. Air is the only thing one will EVER get for free for one's motorcycle, so one should get as much as one can...

Nev,
If I upgraded to this new filter (from small K&N's) I would require a fresh dyno correct?
Would the bike run too lean if I didn't?
Thanks - In advance

i have the triple k&N no torque loss infact i have more torque after dyno also i get 0 chirping. TC rode my bike this arvo and he also said mine does not chirp it only makes the induction noise of sucking in air mixed with a nice roar of the engine

Ok

Same with mine. Might get a very small amount but hardly notice
