Tonight's gas Prices

Nice!!!! I just payed $2.35 in central ny and they should keep coming down. At around $60 a barrell we should be paying less but whatcha gonna do.

Later

Our major local chain, WaWa, lowered their prices in the Fredericksburg area to $1.97 for Regular. What pisses me off is that they are still charging .24 extra for Mid-Grade. The unofficial standard in the U.S. up until about a year ago was .10 extra for Mid-Grade and another .10 for Premium. WaWa started the trend around here. Only a few stores do not follow this trend and that's where I go for my gas. I can pay $2.07 for Mid-Grade at a Sheetz or East Coast station instead of $2.24 at WaWa/Exxon/etc.

In Toledo, just south of us, Unleaded regular is $1.70, mid grade is $1.85 and Premium is $2.05.

I find it interesting that according to the WSJ, a couple of big producers are in financial trouble and that the price of natural gas is climbing as is propane (propane is a product of petroleum).

Usage is way down on motor fuels simply because people can't afford to go anywhere anyway. Wonder if that means the folks in Dubai will havd less spendable income?

Least the firearms dealers are making money.......:D

I often wondered how or why the price of propane rises. That's the stuff you see them burning off on the big stacks at the refineries. They produce too much of it to store.

I am thinking how about a travel stimulus package lets say $1000 gas cards for everyone with one vehicle and $500 for every other vehicle
