Don't be so sure that a Victory can't roast a tire. It can. At least my buddy's can. Even a Hardley can roast a tire. Hradley riders do it all the time at HD rallies. They put the bike against a wall, rev it up and dump the clutch. The winner is the one who blows the tire first and the prize....a new tire. How inane.
I know they can smoke a tire... just not like 140+ lb/ft of torque can..
Actually.. Before I rode to Sturgis, I had though about riding on my almost wore out rear tire up there to get in a burn out contest, but with no readily available tires for us.. I wised up and put a new tire on for the trip instead..
