rick,
i picked up the bike it had 1800 miles on the clock and metzs on it,i know the tires were not new but there was loads of miles left in them.
i since done poss 2000 miles i cannot remember, but the tires even in the dry on white lines were ****ing scary, never mind in the wet.
so i think it will be the avon,s.

I could not launch the bike hard at all without spinning the metz. In fact I could stab at the throttle at any slow speed and the trie would spin right away. I had fun getting sideways when I wanted to but it is a lot more fun getting the hole shot on someone. Those tires are awful. With the Cobra I can launch as hard as the bike will allow me with minimal to no tire spin, and the wheelies are great. You will be happier than a pig in sh!t with the Avon.

I run the cobras and I love em , trial and error has settled on 41psi front and rear . I feel the stock suspension will let you down before these tyres will !
I gotta admit , I don't do many motorway miles but I do a lot of backroad scratching
Mixing it with the sports bikes. 4000 miles on this set and apart from the sides being balled , overall hardly worn .
