It didn't do well sales wise and was pulled from the lineup a few years back. The upgraded version Storm was a 1700 and really a handful with a TTS supercharger installed.

I think the big Triumph would have done better if it had a more traditional looking engine, like the Bonneville line of bikes did. The engine in the Thunderbird looked like it was made by Kawasaki.
