Patrick,

NO! NO! NO!
Speedy made a bo-bo,
He is arriving Lewiston on Sunday, as are the rest of us.

FYI - We will be taking a break in Yakima at noon on Sunday.
Check your route and if interested let me know and I'll give you the location.
Steve

Want me to bring them?

Yeah. I think I isolated where the origin of it all is... sacroiliac joint, I figured out who trigger worse pain and I can feel it coming from deep in the pelvis radiating.

Had x-rays done, waiting on results.

I have DJD, spinal stenosis, foraminal stenosis, and arthritis all over my back. It’s the result of my career in my 20s and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is just an exceptional flare up. I appreciate all the advice! Lyrica helps take the edge off thankfully.
Amen to any thing that helps bro.
I just have Paracetamol and booze here, a great combo for my single large kidney and flabby liver to juggle.;):(

I have been too afraid to go to bed for 4 days now after 2+ weeks of muscle spasms and associated flare up of long undiagnosed Ankrolysing Spondalosis, another genetic inflammatory condition and a possible contributor to yours too @Claviger

Ankylosing Spondylitis

These days they do a gene test for HLA-B27 and then confirm with x-rays of your feet, neck, sacroiliac joint and spine. A tell tale is erosion of the sacroiliac joint and fusion of vertebrae with cartilage discs disappearing entirely. Mine only came to light because of a related eye inflammation Uveitis, that occurred and caused one eye to go blind temporarily with massive associated pain a 2 years ago.

The pain when trying to get up after lying down is a real screamer and leaves me bent over 90 degrees holding a support for minutes until I stop shaking and steel myself for the agony of straightening up and moving, and that was a good time after I had figured out the best way to get to the edge of my bed.

I am now sleeping a few hours a night in my chair with hot water bottles (its been getting down to -6C lately, usually just after dawn) and will chase up my specialist next week.

OK, I shall remove them from the rails and stuff in a pannier.
They are ground down somewhat at the ends, but fully functional.
You will look racey, like a twisty monster!
super.... I made a temp footpeg looks ****ty but works fine .. thanks for the info on the ground nipples but I could have ground my own eventually ( I have a wheeled grinder at home) however a ground peg is a ground peg!!no matter what.
