This sensor... does it have a gasket?

Go to HF and get a box of assorted O-rings. Get two boxes - a Metric and an Imperial set.

Was thinking of doing that Ian. Jusy got to work and it's not seeping... yet.

I stand corrected Will it does have a O-ring on her it just sets on the small diameter and compresses in the bottom of the out put drive case counter bore. Perhaps yours needs to be tighten up a little to compress the O-ring.

That's OK Scott. ya didn't have yer whiskey yet (Coffee in the AM, Whisky at night?) I have tightened it up to the point that I'm going to crack the plastic housing for the sensor if I go any more on it... so will just pop it off... maybe the O-Ring is not even in there from the git-go, or it's been damaged when assempled years ago by Triumph? I'll find out soon enough...

in scott's absence, no you will not lose any. there is a drop of grease on the face of the sensor though, or at least there should be.
