I ain’t as good as you...but I can hold my own.

Just thought i would mention this..
My last remaining uncle died a couple of weeks back aged 90. He was a tough old bugger...didn't need glasses to read ...loved to drink my Barley shine and enjoyed a good laugh still. Unfortunately he had a fall and got an infection thru bleeding on the ground...it got bad and he died from it.
He didnt want a funeral..just to get cremated and have a memorial pissup...lotsa food, drink and friends gathered to talk and remember his days.
Just the way i want it too!.
Anyway, one of his nephews turned up...he is about 68 now. I spotted him and went over and said "Wade Maisey!"
He looked at me and smiled and said who are you?...i smiled back and told him and we both threw our arms around each other and did the big manhug laughing!
I hadnt seen Wade for 52years!..He had bought a new 1966 Triumph Tiger 100 in 1966 and about 6 months later, he and i rode around the North Island of NZ with me as a passenger for maybe two weeks!.We had a great time!...so we had a fair bit to talk about the other night rembering stuff.
What a great night we all had....eventually staggering off to our bunks full of rum...shine...Elderberry wine and bbqued food!.
Drove home sunday...about 450kms.

They ain’t cheap...but worth it. Cooked it for a buddy who came to visit, now he won’t eat any steak but that. Have a crew coming up for golf end of summer, that was the only option on the menu.

Whatever you do when cooking them, don’t daaaaaaare finish em off with garlic, chive, butter poured over them :D
With an additional pour while “resting” them ;)

Never do. I like mixing abou

Never do. I like mixing about 40% honey in my BBQ sauce, put it on when they are almost done, the sugar in the honey carmelizes, tastes like meat candy.
I marinate them for a day or so, inject them with an apple cider/Maggie sauce mix, have a smoker tin going when I cook them. When it comes off the grill...nothing else required except opening your belt a notch.
