Things I've learned commuting on the Rocket

Honestly I'm not sure if mine has gotten worse or if I just notice it more now that I spend more time in that rev range. It was easier to avoid when I wasn't hitting traffic as much, but now I prefer the engine breaking and faster engine response at 3k while having to deal with all the people who derp their way to work.

Louder Horn - first thing I usually upgrade on every vehicle. On RIII, people see you when they look. The problem is, they do not look anymore. They hardly manage to drive the car or even walk the street while staring into expensive little pocket screens they buy from apple and samsung. I have Stebel Nautilus and it is acoustic equivalent to 220V electric shock. Puts everyone back to reality better than group shower.

RIII - I simply love the bike. There is only one thing you can not cheat: when its hot outside, she must be moving, otherwise the heat becomes real pain for the rider. We have hot summer weather here now, basically over 30°C whole June and most of July, today 34°C/70% humidity, Thursday/Friday forecast is 38°C day / 26°C night.. Bike handles it well even in very slow traffic, but I do not. Week ago, after being trapped in traffic jam for about 1.5 hours, I came home with cooked testicles and grilled right leg. Following morning I went straight to the bank and one hour later paid for Burgman 650 in cash.. So now I have zero issues with commuting

I'm having the vibration issue too on my r3t. I am trying to find a way to dampen my handlebars I found that the bar ends have threaded sockets do they pop out? If so I was planning to fill my bars with airsoft pellets or rubber balls.

Don't tell anyone but I find myself haunting the Zero site now and again. Lol

Honestly can't remember. I swapped to the kyurakyn ISO grips a few years ago. Don't have the bar ends for 'em though. That'll be my next option if I can't figure out what is actually wrong.

The bar end threaded piece inside is tac welded.
