I had one installed at the factory. I did not like it, it scraped the pavement every time I would lean into a corner

I've been giving it some thought aswell. Purely to make it easier to clean the bike.
I was wondering how it would fit given that I've had the cat box removed.
Anybody been down this track??

i bought a manual stand on ebay. crude but puts bike up centered and not leaning like kick stand. from "unk " in wisconsin or somewhere up north. -usa. ---here's another possible extra benefit. it relieves the sitting stress on shocks/springs in kick stand position. prevents "set" in each. especially w/ hi $$$ components. ---john

Just installed mine today. Took a lot of grinding to make it fit but it looks fine and my test ride showed no dragging issues. The included strap is not needed if backrest is installed.
