Think we all know who did the right thing in this transaction. Reckon he's done and said enough for everyone on here to work out how he should be treated !! Hellfire already has all of our respect and was one of the first people to chime in when I joined this great forum and welcome me and give great advise on mods and problem solving and then u come in Gary and piss on his boots in his/ our house when u have barely finished introducing yourself . You are an idiot if you bought it anywhere else it would have cost you a heap more than u payed end of story. Gary - You are lucky to ahve got the parts. Hellfire offered you a good price on them and guessed at postage. You thought it was too high and offered a lower total which he accepted, but than that wasn't good enough for you. You wanted him to go to post office and get exact cost than wait for you to pay than go back to post office. Now I ahve no idea where he lives in relation to post office but i doubt he could get there and back in less than an hour. His time is worth something, why should he send it on you. If he had quoted $300 shipped you would have accepted (if you priced the parts new) so why are you upset.

I just bought a set from another member, we agreed on a total price - i got a good deal on seat, he got cash and rid of clutter and I don't know or care how he did on shipping.

Rockets are expensive to ride and maintain.......not like Honda's and Yamaha's....Ime not bashing them mind you since I also own a yamaha.......Its just the Rocket is more expensive to ride than the yamaha........
If it were me buying the parts at a discount price such as you did I would have said."Thank you for the great deal,I really appreciate it"........Since I too have purchase parts from members on here........Didnt ***** once either
