Sunday from Hell, All 3 sons down

T,
Sorry you and your boys went through such a horrible situation. Praying they'll all make a full recovery and that you don't beat yourself up too much over what happened. Definitely with you on the importance of good gear. You gotta dress for the fall, not for the ride.

T, hang in there. "What could have been" is just that. It wasn't "what happened" and "what happened" is that everyone is OK.

Great advice, Lonnie. I also thought that T had handled himself well given the circumstances.

BoogerDave, I agree with you in wondering if I should have encouraged my wife to learn to ride herself. I tend to follow her and cover her back. She still stalls on the occassional uphill stoplight so I hang back and hold up traffic until she can get it going. Part of me is so proud of her but another part of me is fearful of the guilt that I would feel if she got hurt.

I'm glad everyone is alive, maybe not well...but alive. Hopefully the mending will be fast.

Ride safe.

Dennis
