Just had to look closer at the old sump pan after removal. What the hell!!!!!!!!! has Triumph done to the life of my engine
. I removed two screens from the sump pan and found what you see in the pictures on the link. The scree on the front side is covered with what looks to be melted teflon tape- sealant - I don't know but it sure cut down on flow to some point. No wonder it took forever to drain the oil from the front and rear plugs (05 model). There were also some small bits of metal but not too excited about this. Some of the shots are me holding it to a flash light. No more ranting, I'll put it back together, some new oil again- and ride till she pukes
