I reckon they're due to the anticlimax at the end. I was expecting him to roar off down the road, not crawl away at 5mph in the traffic. Made me chuckle the first time I saw it. Jury probably would be out on the "homemade" look of the pipes, too.

Well you could say it's unique, in Japan there is no space to roar off lol. well maybe only in the country areas and the well mannered polite culture rules, so I will have to curb my ways mate
