I'm not worried about Dave, my 'bird is locked up in one of my aluminum buildings and Dave can't remember where I live anyhow.

As far as the seating on the T'bird...I didn't buy it for a passenger. If you have seen pictures of mine I have a rack there instead...I would imagine, other than riding around town, that the small pillion seat that comes with it would be a nonstarter for a long trip for a passenger.

The other Rockets and the Tourer have better seats and I believe have more "aftermarket" seating options for the passenger. It won't be a Gold Wing or Ultra Classic passenger seat but any of them would be better than the stock T'bird passenger pillion.

And while the T' bird has better than average torque than most bikes its size the Rocket family has it in spades.

OK knifeman, I'm confussed.........about a month ago I thought you decided against a triumph and went back to a harley ultra I believe. Thought you had the fatbob sold? I gues ll that fell through.... Once Triumph gets in your blood,, It never gets out. I personally have the Rocket Tour. Will ride it till it falls apart.....If I would buy a second bike, it would be the 1700 Thunderbird......

yes married been together 15 years i have 4 motorcycles my wife has been telling me to buy a new motorcycle for years just did not know what i wanted till i decided to buy the rocket. i paid for it . she buys what she want with her money i buy what i want with my money and we split the household bills we have 2 kids she is a good woman

When i got my R3 i rode it home parked it in the shed and said to the misses got a new bike do ya like it
