i know this has been covered before on here . i have an 04 rocket that will not turn over i thought the battery was dead so got a new one . still have the same problem. i read a piece from NICK003 back in oct 08 who seems to have had the same problem as i am having i have checked the earth cables seem ok battery is fully charged ignition seems ok hit the start button and it gives the same as a flat battery. any advice would be much appreciated thanks

Four other simple checks to do...

1] Check the micro switch on the clutch lever - Hold starter button in and gradually pull clutch lever back.

2] Make double sure the bikes in nutral - give the shifter a good old wiggggggle :D

3] Check micro switch on side stand - Hold starter button in and flick stand up/down.

4] Kill switch - "ON/OFF"...

Hi to every one and thanks to those of you who posted replys to my quiery.Have got the bike back all working. It seams that the new battery i purchased was a duff one when tested it had less power than the original. A new one was fitted by the macanics and every thing is fine starts on the button.Once again thanks for all your help and advice all the best PETE
