Hi to every one and thanks to those of you who posted replys to my quiery.Have got the bike back all working. It seams that the new battery i purchased was a duff one when tested it had less power than the original. A new one was fitted by the macanics and every thing is fine starts on the button.Once again thanks for all your help and advice all the best PETE

That is very common. Time consuming to fix when you think it's something else too. Glad you got it sorted out.
