HI all

Had the bike for 4 months and its already been sent back to the trader once.

Issue: Bike stalls when stopping at lights in first gear and is reluctant to start again. Slowing down to a stop results in the engine dying, it happened 4 times in a 2 mile trip yesterday. Twisting the throttle doesnt stop it from stalling.
TPS has been checked and engine has been tuned to correct parameters, so the trader tells me.
only other thing might be relevent is the engine idle rhythm - seems to go br-br-br-br-brbrbrbrbrbr-br-br-br-brbrbrbrbr if that makes sense at all :D

tons of pages about it and possible solution Stalling seems to be happening when cleaning the bike and bending even so slightly the metal tab

Maybe vacuum problem
You can take a vacuum hose and put one end to ear and the other around the throttle bodies to listen for the leak

Leak? what do you mean?

When the vacuum hoses get old they crack or pop off this creates a hissing noise. Also it creates havoc with the map sensor which makes the engine run bad. There are 3 hoses from the throttle bodies to map sensor also 3 rubber plugs cap at the base of the throttle bodies.

Had the same problem with a 2007 Classic. Ran some Redline fuel cleaner through it and cleared the problem up. Not saying that it will work in your case, but an easy first step before you start looking elsewhere.
