It might be just me but that header looks like it was welded without exhaust flow in mind. Has a pieced together look to it as well.

What certainly is hideous - that bloody ABS box.
In the land of the TÜV - you'd need a fat "fine resistant" wallet to ride with that. It's an aesthetic statement. Not the one I'd choose - but ....................
