Source of oil leak '05RIII ?

I can't figure out where this is coming from. Pictures show area at kickstand. Arrows point to surface that ends up with a drop or two after a ride (wiped clean for these pics). This is above the seam in the case. Tried to clean up in there, but is very hard to get in there! Very hard to even see in there. Thought maybe it would click with someone who knows what's up in there- really cruddy looking where the kickstand sensor wire is routed back from the sensor, almost looks like the source of the leak would be coming from right behind there...
any ideas?

My hunch is your oil tank O ring seals are shot and it is leaking from there, where the oil tank plugs into the engine. After the next ride, run your finger just below the oil tank to check for fresh oil. Its a 10 dollar fix if you do the work yourself, otherwise you are likely looking at a few hundred bucks for labor.
