Okay guys I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but aside from storage and a little weight savings at the end of the day in the real world how much of a difference is there in performance gains? That's all I'm interested in knowing. Don't need to know anything about tuners, fuel managers, and tunes. Thank you.

Given my time over again I would have stuck with a K&N underseat filter. Just can't be bothered replacing all the plumbing that I removed to fix the cam chain .. I don't like the underclaw filters

Can't really comment on performance but I was happy with the triples. I also like the look and didn't really notice the induction noise (or it didn't bother me), but one really compelling reason to fit them is that you don't have to put the plenum back on. Biggest pain in the arse ever.

I had the triple filters on twice and didn't like how it ran either time, which is why I took them off. If you had a good exhaust like Predators, Carpenter or Jardines and got it tuned properly you would definitely get a boost. I used a Tuneboy custom tune for triple Unifilters and TORs but it didn't make it. It's a pain in the butt to remove or replace the plenum.

Cant really see the performance being a hell of a lot different mate but having the triples makes it easy when u balance your throttle bodys as u don't have that "almost impossible to reinstall" plastic plenum to remove and replace so it becomes a ten min job.

I only found that the triple K&N 2780's are limited by their size, larger filters allow more air a freer passage and there fore less sucking noise but will only let in what you allow out so should be complimented by a freer flowing exhaust, yes the exposed filters will be still be noisier but it is more of an induction roar when you open it up, the crickets as many report hearing almost disappear with the larger RX4040's.
I will never go back to anything less airflow capable than what I have :D

Whilst sorting out a new under bareclaw filter I've removed and replaced my plenum and under-tank plumbing so many times its now a piece of cake, :D. They say practice makes perfect. :p

Its all back to standard now and I don't miss the intake roar at all.
