Marty, you started off sounding like you knew what you were talking about with all that stuff about numb hands and carpel tunnels etc - and then you said it was a pain in the arse...... Do you actually know your arse from your elbow???

Sorry mate it's the voices they just get me confused sometimes, I'll try and ignore them for longer periods, take my medication, and I should be back to normal and ok for a few hours at least.

I hope to stop what I believe is actually a very fine vibration that has been making my hands go numb after about 1 hour I am fitting the Kuryakn ISO Grips with throttle boss and optional bar end weights that they make hopefully that will help also found while looking for them a set of Heated grip liners that fit under the ISO grips cos I think part of my problem is a bit of arthritis setting in

Mate in Melbourne changed his shadows grips for the same reason, Harmonic Vibrations, new grips slightly larger in diameter and no more problem. Your the second person to ever mention this Hanso so may just have some merit.

I've had the ISO grips on for almost a year and reckon they are fantastic. Never get tingles and even found the larger diameter made it easier to work the throttle smoothly at really low speed. The look good too. No end weights but they don't need them.

I use that set up also on my R3T..the end weights were the answer..when I replaced the stockers,I was surprised at the weight at the end of the stock grips...no brainer to use the kuryakn also.Not a noticable problem anymore!And the Kuryakn improves the appearance of the bike!

Dead easy. Only 'difficult' part is you have to make sure the left grip lines up the same the right. It's glued on (same as the std one) so you need to get it lined up before you slide it on. That's it. Right hand side just goes on - reverse of pulling the std one off. As I said, dead easy.

Hey Canberra with all this talk about harmonic vibrators' left and right grip and pulling the std off I thought I had the wrong site.Then I realised it's probably linked to RED ROCKET SYNDROME. On a serious note I sometimes get tingling in my fingers when cruising on hyway at 120k but nothing to worry about. Not like the suzuki GSX 1135 I owned in the 80's any where between 100 and 160k it made all your fingers feel as big as pork sausages. No fun when you cant feel the front brake lever.
