Scored a deal yesterday.

I had been looking for a spare rear wheel assemble for my 06 rocket classic because it is such a pain in the butt to have changed (refering to no drop center). So I found a guy that trikes out rockets as a business leaving him with spare parts. I scored complete rear with tire having about 3000 miles left on, and a front with brand new tire both for $500 plus a 40 mile drive to pick up.

Smart tip. Wouldn't mind getting mine powder coated but can't have the bike off the road for any length of time (if I can help it). Might try to sus out a set and then I could sell mine when they're done....

Great idea. Hey Canberra, if you find a set of wheels, maybe I can go you halves and when you getting your coated, i'll do the same??? I dunno, but maybe if we had a spare set of rim and tyres floating about amongst our aussie contingent and share them somehow..If you work out a fair and reasonable way of doing it I'll put some $ in.

Let me know, if too difficult then try and find 2 sets for a better deal and I'll buy a set to keep.

I was thinking about getting a spare set of wheels. A guy up by me is selling a set for 425 with the meats on them still. I would love to have a set powder coated black. Bet that would make my bike even more faster... more black= more speed
