Rode a few Harleys yesterday and.......

After riding Valkyries and now the R3T, most all bikes feel like my first bike, small and insignificant. I am sure being 46, 6'4" and 300 lbs contribuutes to that feeling as well.

I'm 53, 5'8" and 160, they still feel small to me

Best of both......for me at least

Had to look up the CVO, wondering on the price ... wow, starting at $36,799! I can't contemplate the crazy fun you could using the same coin buying an R3T and the rest of that $37k modifying it. I have nothing against Harleys per se, but this sure is a good example of one of the reasons I don't go that route.

FYI- pretty sure ol' Elvis dumped his Rocket for a Harley awhile back and has left the building!

I have my Bike in the Garage. Everytime I see here I get a smile on my Face........and a warm Feeling that she is mine..

She sits like a Sofa,
Rides like the wind,
Goes like the Firebrigade,
Is the best I ever bought for myself,
Gave me lot's of Friends,
Wil last for ever ( Hopefully my Grandson likes it as much as I do so he can drive her....)
Gives you the best Forum to find on the Internet....

Best Bike ever made....

Regards from Holland.

Interesting comment about the small tank. One of my few complaints about the R3T is the width of the tank. Maybe if I was shorter it would not be an issue, but I would certainly like a narrower tank.

Harry, they have surgeries now to shorten your legs if that is still a problem. Otherwise, may I suggest you go horse riding a few times a week. The rocekt tanks becomes less of a concern afterwards... Just trying to help as always...

Thanks Bobby. When you get to my age the idea of elective surgeries becomes less attractive. My wife had a suggestion as to how I could get used to the position as well, but I'll not go into that here.

I really do not have anything against harleys. Some harley riders well that is another story. We can say that the 2010 fatboy has only been rode one time in the last four months. It needs new tires but that is not the reason why it just sits there. As a matter of fact the Rocket tires are in better shape but we have a set of avons in the living room by the front door ready to go for the Rocket, just waiting on the service manual to show up. The fatboy is set up really slick both cosmetically and performance wise. In the past couple of months I have walked out the front door with Harley Keys in hand to go on to work only to turn around and grab the keys to the Rocket. There is no comparing the two bikes, one comes from the land of image over substance and the other comes from the land of HOLY ****. Everytime we get on the Rocket X and start it up we get a stupid grin on our face that just does not happen on the Harley.

Gee I wonder why? It looks like it has all the comforts of home on two wheels. Big difference between Your two wheeled cadillac and A fatboy. Good looking bike....
