Looks like Maggie Valley is pretty booked up for that weekend and the rates are going up in Waynesville. I just booked Friday and Saturday night at the Days Inn West in Chandler, NC for just under $100 total. It's 21 miles from A Holiday Motel in Maggie Valley which isn't ideal, but on the other hand, I guess I'll be 21 miles closer to home on Sunday morning As far as I know right now, it's just me and my Rocket.
Nope, just save a few bucks here and there, clear all the gas cards, grab the visa and go. Pay it off for the next 3 years. Anyone want to put up some rag tag riders for a night?
WOW this gathering is getting Large, by far the largest Rockets across America to Date.
How large you Ask?
Combined thread stats between the 2 sites: 132 pages, 1318 post, and 27,811 views.

I have to provide an accurate list to the caterer 2 week prior with payment in advance so I will be coordinating the list and collecting payments starting April 1st.
Everyone is also welcome to visit one of the many local restaurants for the evening meal also. The catered meals are not a requirement just put together for convenience and safety of the attendees. I suspect the local restaurants will be busy due to the rally. Plus Not having to leave the premises to eat and party has its benefits, You can have a few drinks without worrying about Riding or driving. We will have a music system complete with MIC and Amplifier for those that want to entertain feel free. If you have music you would like to bring feel free the system will accommodate any IPod or music player.
Thanks again to everyone for the overwhelming response for door prizes and help with the cookout it is very much appreciated. If Anyone additional wants to provide a door prize please feel free to bring them, they will be put to good use.
