I could use some packing advice, being from Cali I can predict the California weather with a fair degree of certainty, This will be my first trip across the country and I'm not sure what to expect in the area of road conditions and weather. Since I normally dont care whether or not it rains during my rides I dont have rain gear, just my leathers. I do have a full face helmet ( A necessity when your as oogley as I am ) Any suggestions on decent rain gear? heres my packing list

Pants (optional)
Tequila
Insurance info
Camera
extra socks and underwear

I'm still using the tool kit from my Harley; hammer, crow bar, monkey wrench, floor dry, candy bar.

recomend;
12 volt air compressor $30 at autozone and very small.
emergency tire plug kit, people dont recomend it but a pluged tire is better than a flat one, emergency use only.
Wife, very useful when is time to push the bike
