I have pretty well sworn off of poker runs. you get the rider that has a bike 14 years and have put 8000 miles on it, it's plum dangers and you have the others that think there are evil Knievel and like to show off but I guess that's my two cents worth you all will be calling me Hellraiser being married to her is starting to rub off LOL

dusty u and skip could ride with me and stb cause we wont be in no hurry since it will be our first time there

Sounds good, considering I've only ridden in one large group and I can say it was not enjoyable, to many to watch can't relax

IF YOU HAVE 50 PEOPLE, PUT THEM IN 2 GROUPS OF 25 EACH, ONE CREW TAKE ONE, AN ANOTHER CREW TAKE ONE, I NOMINATE JESSE, SKIP, MEXICAN, AN RAINMAN!!! RIDE THAT ROUTE ON FRIDAY, THEN SWITCH AN RIDE THE OPPOSITE ROUTE THE NEXT DAY! MUCH MORE ORGANIZED, AN YA NEED TRAFFIC STOPPERS, FRONT RUNNER, AN THE ASS ENDER, NEED TO BE APPOINTED ONES, THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOIN!!! JUST SAYIN!!

HELLRAISER, you are talking PARADE RIDING. I know that is what a lot of you are used to. And I guess that you like it that way. I was at RAA Kentucky and witnessed the parade riding there.

One day, Katie led the ROCKETS in her VAN!

NOW THAT IS JUST NOT RIGHT.

Many of these Ozark roads should be riden single file, with your eyes on the road ahead.

Bring a pillion rider with a camera. She can look around and take pictures. You can look at the pictures later.

So far, you all are fighting over who's going last or wanting to PARADE RIDE!

GAWD! Is anybody going to this that actually likes a safe level of spirited riding?

Hmmmm, that sounds like rules, discipline, getting yelled at. Thats why I didn't go into the military !

Single file is the safest way to ride in the ozarks, plenty of room between riders, relax people, nothing we havn't done before

I want to enjoy the ride.
Spirited riding with the boys, sure we can do that too,
but mostly it's a vacation for me.
A time away from the stresses of china mart
and a chance to relax with the people who I enjoy
keeping company with in the evenings.
The rides are nice, but not my whole purpose or intent for going.
My first and foremost reason is the company, fellowship, comradey,
and renewing old friendships and making new ones.
Life is short, the older I get, the more I see how really short it is,
I want to see my friends I don't get to see often enough.
Ride with them, have a beer with them, enjoy them...
But that's just me...

What is everyone getting so upset over?????
Hell we have all done these RAA's before and have had no problems....
We are all adults and we know how to ride........Ride your own ride the way you feel comfortable........If the group is going faster or slower than you wish then Ime sure someone will slow down and ride with you or the rest will let you go ahead and ride fast..........
Yall put on your big girl panties now and concentrate on HAVING FUN.
After all that is what these things are for..........
