Rockets Across America V – Fall Launch

Bad weather in Southwest

Hey all, I've decided to cancel my trip. :( Looking at the weather, I would be slogging through 6 to 8 hours of heavy rain and thunderstorms once I leave AZ.

Most of the trip for me would be in rain, but that much of the heavy stuff probably wouldn't be a good idea. Not for such a long haul.

Sorry guys, I was looking forward to riding with you again. Maybe in the spring.

Steve, if there is sufficient interest in doing a Colorado Rocket Launch. I'd be willing to do the planning for it. Durango's a good base and has Wolf Creek Pass, Telluride, and the Million Dollar Highway in range for rides.

PS. I made up GPS routes for the Ozark rides if anyone wants them. They are for Garmin.

A place called the Hub in Marble Falls, AR is a great motorcycle resort. As good a riding anywhere in the country. This area has my vote.

you're a little late w/ the post LWC2300.
We're meeting there this weekend.
If you're not doing anything, see if you can't get a room and meet us there.

Has anybody check the weather lately??

Hey, if a Durango Rocket Launch is in the works, please plan it for mid-June through mid-August. My wife is a teacher and I'd like to bring her to this.
