Nice!

I like it, but would definitely want to ride one. At 6'3", my feet are as far back as I want 'em on my R3 Standard. Anybody know if the geometry and/or bar rise/reach are any different on the Roadster?

Not sure if I like the "look" of the mufflers, even if it has a better sound...kind of bigger than expected when looking at the new pictures in the MCN article.

I'm glad Triumph is modifying it somewhat...but I already have enough power and torque for "my" needs so I'll probably continue to dwell in the R3 Classic/R3T end of the Rocket spectrum...or the possibly "new and improved" Gold Wing due out next year. The new Gold Wing is expected to have a pretty good uptick in price (for the model I want NAV and ABS probably around $25K+) so it had better have a radical new look and perfomance improvements (current 118 HP/125 ft./lbs. torque) for me to consider it at the higher price...if not I'll be staying in Rocket Land.

If my current ride doesn't sell (have lowered the price to $10,000) and the job situation goes south I'll just ride the one I have and be content with it when I get home. If it does sell then I'll look into getting the new bike sometime next year.

Hi Dennis i agree with you on the exhaust, i think that the three tail pipes give the rocket a uniqe look.

Rayjay, I agree, that is one of the features that drew me to buying one. I do not mind two mufflers (one on each side), it's just that those look a little out of place. I don't think those are the R3T mufflers either.

Liking the Roadster

Well...have to say, I really like the look of this newer version Rocket. I was and have been in the market for a bit, but think I will wait now to see how this one looks and rides.

Really like the look of the exhaust, even though I agree that the 3 pipes was unique. Just wondering how hard bags and any other accessories would look on it?

For now will just have to wait till the spring to see and hopefully Triumph will have some ready for some reviews and videos so we can all see and hear it.:D

Shocks

Be interesting to see how it rides and handles with the new shocks, perhaps they'd be worth fitting to the standard bike.

Okay Britman, I won't tell her. As far as bags/luggage...I think that the current offerings of Corbin Beetle Bags, Leather Lykes, etc...should probably fit with no problem, if anything the right side muffler may be a little lower than the two stack as it currently is.
