Gentlemen

While I am over in Africa I have access to web so I would like to buy a motorcycle jack and have it waiting on me in the states, so I can yank cat off and put D&D's on. Any recommendations on the net. I am looking for good price and good safe quality for my baby. Imports are fine and cheap is great as long as it works. Harbor freight and Northern tools used have one, but I don't know if they were any good. Thanks.

..a jack will just be in the way when ya take off the cat and pipes..as for other times..a harbor freight jack will work..either tie the front end down to something or make some L brackets with a pin to go in the frame mount holes on the rear of the bike, so it comes up level..

I think the harbor frieght and northern tools ones would be comparable to the sears one I have. For no more than you would need it, it should work fine.

Thanks it looks like i won't need a jack then to remove cat and exhaust. I had not really looked at the project and since my bike is so far away.... That's great I can just unbolt drop, cat, remove pipes, bolt on new pipes, 12 minute tune and ride, great thanks.

Sears or harbor freight jack and these little jewels supposidly work like a charm.
Sure would beat a permanent attachment to the lift,
Think I'll have to make a couple and give it a try.
A couple of ole boys swear by them..
Just sit it on the jack, scoot em in the centerstand holes,
and up she goes, both tires at once.
