Rocket III motor in a car?

That is so cool!

More info re the MG build and adaption to the Rocket III engine would be great or simply a link to your website etc would be fine.
Hello, more information on the car as follows. The output of the transmission rotates the wrong direction so simply making a drive shaft to the MG diff. would have given me 5 speeds in reverse. I simply turned the third member upside down to fix that issue. When I got the engine the fuel injection system was not complete and there no computer or electronics. I fabricated a intake manifold to accept two clone weber IDF carburetors . With no ignition system I contacted a company called electromotive that built systems for any engine from 1 to 16 cylinders. They were very helpful and made a great quality product. And now are no longer in business, go figure. I made the car right hand drive because the drive shaft exits the left side of the engine and crosses thru the cockpit to the center making the left foot well much smaller. More peddle room on the right. The car has a simple homemade straight axle with fact steering. The frame is constructed from 1x1 mild steel tubing and a homemade aluminum body. I could ramble on about this car forever but I will end with this, I was a vey fun project and happy with the result. If I can figure out how to send more pictures I will if intrested. Thanks MK.

Fascinating & impressive are my words!

I have purchased a 2009 rocket 3 that I plan on installing into my 75 spitfire. Did you go through with the idea yourself? Ive been talking to a guy with a busa engine in his spit. Looks like alot of fab work for engine mounting, but not to bad other then that

So ive ordered new trunnionless vertical links from canley classics that should be on there way. Ive got the 7075 material to machine the taper that bolts to the vertical link I still have to do. The adapter going from a 00 mr2 wheel bearing hub to the vertical link should come in this week. I need to come up with the back of the frame design still to adapt the narrowed subframe, then the frame can be built which I have all the material sitting and waiting. Just gonna be 1.5" square tube, then 1.5" dom cage built around it. Floor is gonna get cut out and lowered to get some more head room. I was going to do a convoluted sprocket design to reverse the drive that I had designed, but im just gonna run a Ford 8.8 irs upside down like I originally planned. Gonna use a inline reversing gearbox from quaife which will give the next order i do. Using amp ms3 minipro for engine management. Id love to do the carpenter racing cam kit, but we will see. Gonna at least slap a gt30 turbo on it.
