Well today ended a pretty long stint in me owning Rockets. My beloved Triple Black went out the gate never to return. Ive delegated myself to riding my 22 Tiger 1200 GT Pro from here on in/out...Of course ill miss it as i always do but my recent near death illness got me to thinking and sorting priority's.
Ill still be lurking around .....
Tal, I know exactly what you're going through. It's been a couple months since my last ride. I want to, but I'm so wobbly and weak, I fear one of my big Girls might just want to jump on top of me. Just carrying a 40# bag of dog food into the house from the car, whoops my but. Don't think I could lift a Big Girl off of me. Sad but true. I've got 2 Sportsters I may drag out of the barn, and fresh up.
You got a nice substitute, an off road Rocket. Triumph could apply some of the Tiger 1200 features on the new R3. That instrument cluster and rear swingarm look great.
I know that it had to be be rough dont know if i am man enough i may have to just keep it and torture the neighborhood with loud pipes in the morning.
Lol
We certainly can't act a fool like we use to. Every time I think I can still ride like I use to I just look in the mirror cause it won't lie to me. In a few years I will down size (not down grade) to a Speedmaster or maybe T120. At my age Going Down takes on a different, not enjoyable meaning.
