And the Owners Handbook tells you it's permanently live!

Maybe Triumph don't know?????

I think the wording in the manual is miss leading, it says don't leave anything connected when the engine is stopped, but it's still ignition live only I think they mean don't use it without the engine running as it's definitely not live like mine in the Tiger GT Explorer when the bike is off as I use mine for charging and wanted to do the same on my dad's Rocket 3 GT but you can't unfortunately.
