yesterday rolling along out on some backroad central western wyo, with my buddy norris who rides an hd ultra classic (poor guy doesnt know any better!) not a cloud in the sky, 77 degrees, slight alcohol buzz on, life is good! just playing with the throttle. i love blipping the throttle at 75 mph, as this provides instant torque pulling satisfaction! what a bike i am thinking even after owning her for 9 yrs. she pulls instantly and is begging for more. quickly up to 115, back to 75, over and over. im feeling good. come to a long steep hill probably a mile long. pull the hill effortlessly at 90 mph 5th gear. ah yes, 2 wheeled satisfaction! 10 miles later we pull over to bs and have another cold one. norris asks, did you have to downshift on that hill? i just start laughing............. life is good on the beast......................scott

I'm all about the fun of the ride. The power and the speed is all good. Beer buzz bike riding and a few more in route sounds like something the poor Harley rider who doesn't know any better would do. The only high should come from the joy of the ride. Don't mean to bust balls, but your life and many others are depending on your clear head. Please ride sober. Have fun and be careful.

i know, i know, but my harley buddy carries on his bike a bac meter, and we try not to exceed .08 as that would be illegal!
