There are a shed load of OBD-II "gadgets" out there for monitoring just about every car under the sun.
Has anybody ever tried plugging one into the R3's diagnostic port?. I'm wondering as if the R3 really is OBD-II - then it seems sensible somehow.
I know that as well as the "standard" set of doohdads (PID's) I appreciate the R3 will have it's own set. But (for example) if one could SEE the ECM's values TPS/RPM/MAP and AF/R then we'd have some idea what is happening.
No Scott - strapping a PC to the tank does NOT count as conveniently sized. I've tried.8)
I've been toying with this idea for a while. But as the R3 is the only vehicle we own with this electrickery malarky ('cept MAYBE the missus' Citroen)- it'll be a bit of a waste if it wont work.
Time to mail Tom/Alain too methinks.
