Took a couple tries, but did land another job with good pay and benefits. Maintenance mechanic with a pet food producer. Not quite the same pride in my work as building motorcycles, but know I'm lucky to have a job. It did come as a surprise, we took a lot of concessions on our last contract. Let them outsource a lot of work to keep the factory there. Had just launched the new combined Dyna/softail model. But the place had changed a lot over the years, wasn't the same feeling towards the end as when I started. Lot of new management that wasn't interested in motorcycles, just dollars.
I don't like all this talk about getting old. I can't be TOO old if I'm learning to ride my grandson's hoverboard!

Okay so since Thedogsbollock has spoken folks i guess we can all sleep better knowing that it is all are imagination and no problem exist with the transmissions. For your info i plan on making over 100,000 on one bike not three.
Yawn...I’m simply getting bored of your making the same point over and over with the implication it’s a dead certainty this will happen.
We get it...you had a problem.
