indeed ... that is when you start the clock before takeoff tower generally also start the clock

I attempted to land a Beechcraft Skipper behind a C130 Hercules Air National Guard cargo plane. I stayed 2 minutes behind it but the vortexes close to the runway were still so bad that I had to abort and go around and come in on the second attempt. A little scary but manageable. Kind of fun too.

Dunno if I'd give it the King of Cruisers title though...King of displacement/power yes, but I dunno about the 'Cruiser' bit. Never ridden one though so it could surprise me.
